to register as a member in order to save search profiles, list animals
for adoption, or otherwise take advantage of membership benefits.

it voluntarily through our Site or in connection with a purchase.

from our Individual Members, including name, e-mail addresses, mail
address, phone number, demographic information (i.e., city and state),
search
profiles and animal listings. From our Shelter Members, we collect,
among other
things, institutional name, address, contact information, information
about the shelter and, of course, animal listings. Certain kinds
of financial or sales information such as full names and credit
card account
numbers
may be collected for any transactions that take place on our Site.
Other information that identifies you personally may be collected
by us through
comments or suggestions submitted through our site. We disclose information
associated with your pet listings that you voluntarily provide to
us through
our website services. This "Listing Information" may include
your (or shelter) name, street address (shelters only), city and
state, e-mail address, pet descriptions (including photos), and phone
numbers
(optional). Any other personal information you share with us will
be used for limited internal purposes, including processing animal
searches
or
personal listings, processing your transactions, customer service,
and site development. Other than Listing Information published on
our site,
we do not disclose or share your credit card numbers, mailing address,
purchasing, search history or any other personal identifying information
that is collected from this site with any third parties. We reserve
the right to disclose your personal information if required to do
so by law,
or in the good faith belief that such action is reasonably necessary
to comply with legal process, respond to claims, or to protect the
rights, property or safety of our company, its employees, customers,

E-mail Addresses
We collect your e-mail address as part of providing our animal listing
services. Except for customer service purposes, we will not send
any e-mails to you unless you request information or services from
us.
Except for Listing
Information or as is otherwise described in this policy, we will
not disclose your e-mail address to any third party without your
consent.
We reserve
the right to send you one e-mail without your further consent on
or before April 1 2002, asking if you want to opt in to a new set
of marketing
and/or
commerce services that we intend to deploy before that date. If you
do not opt in to the new set of services, we will no longer send
you any e-mails
unless you request information or services from us.
Children
We do not intend, and this site is not designed, to collect personal information
